Scott Romeo
About Me
Scott has been a trainer for over 10 years with extensive experience in the health and fitness industry. He is a qualified PT with a Bachelor of Sport Science and Exercise Physiology.
His journey started after injuring his lower back working in a warehouse. After seeing many specialists to try and fix it, with no success, he decided to study personal training in 2007. Scott used what he learned about the body to fix the problem himself. This was the starting point for his passion for human movement.
He then went on to further study, gaining a Bachelor of Sport Science and Exercise Physiology. After working as an Exercise Physiologist for 2 years, he realised there was more to health that just “exercise”. That's when Diverse Motion was born.
Scott is passionate about exploring different kinds of training and movement, to more fully understand how and why the body moves. He has run marathons and triathlons, including a half iron-man, and played high level soccer. He also enjoys slack-lining, unicycling and juggling, but his current passions is rock-climbing and trail running. Scott is always looking for a new challenge, and his next field to master is dancing, so stay tuned!
Scott takes a holistic approach to movement, not just limited to exercise - he is also interested in the benefits of being barefoot, meditation and mindfulness, solving rubix cubes, and plant-based nutrition.
